ABOUT ME
Hi there! I’m an Italian girl who, like lots of other young people, moved to the UK looking for new opportunities. I live in a small town in West Sussex, not too far from London and Brighton. I moved here in 2016 with my Italian boyfriend, who comes from that beautiful region called Tuscany.
WHY THIS BLOG
Why this blog? Well, simply put, I love travelling and I would like to share my travel experiences with someone else. I would also like to use this blog as a sort of personal diary of all my travel memories. I enjoy organizing my holidays as best as I can because I want to maximize my free time and make the most of my vacations.
Once I reach my destination, I hate wasting time wandering around, deciding where to go, or what to do. I like to have my holiday planned before I get on-site and I spend a lot of time looking for the perfect place to stay, the best restaurants to eat, or the worth visiting sights. I want my holidays to be perfect… or almost perfect 😊and I wish I could help you with that.
Even though I don’t travel as often as I wish, I try to do so every time I have the chance. Paid time off is very little and my boyfriend and I split it between vacations and visits to our families. Improbable far-away and exotic destination? Not really, not yet, but I hope to find a way to travel more and further! For now, we travel mainly to Europe and around the UK. I try to make the most of our time here, by exploring the country during weekends and bank holidays. I love organizing walks or short trips in the area.
Even so, I believe that, even when you set up for a day trip a few hours from home, you are still travelling. It doesn’t matter the distance, what matters is the spirit and the attitude: the desire to explore, learn something new, be curious, discover a new place.
